Mushroom Wind Band - Stars
Some stories can only be told without words. Stars is one of them. The sixth album from
Mushroom Wind Band on Vintage Vinyl Records is the band's most introspective work yet, and it
shows a more mature sound and production. Psychedelic 1970s-style rock meets biting blues
guitar and dreamy synthesizers, creating a sound that belongs entirely to Mushroom Wind Band.
Ten instrumental pieces carry the listener from a quiet welcome, through dream worlds and
purple forests, beneath the title track’s open sky, and finally one step forward. This is music that
brings something new to every listen: a texture, a harmony, a melody you may not have heard
before. Best enjoyed on good headphones, with the lights low.
